Introduction

The publication of this book of reproductions of the murals painted by Ferrer Bassa six hundred years ago in the Pedralbes monastery is the result of a wish to make this fascinating, unique work more widely know. Accessible to those living in Barcelona, it deserves to acquire recognition in a larger context.
